e.state.conflict.lockbox.held.f¶
This lockbox is open in another program on this machine.
Retrying the same thing changes nothing.
What a response says¶
The lockbox at {path} is held by {holder}. A home is three separate stores and nothing makes a write to one atomic with a write to another, so two programs working in one home can leave the keystore holding no key for the key history's current key — which signs perfectly and can never rotate again.
The placeholders are filled from path, holder, which travel positionally in the args member of the response.
What to do¶
Stop that program, then try again. heti serializes rotations per identifier inside one process, and that is not a promise it can make across two.
Where it sits¶
| Sorter | e — Error. The problem clearly defeats someone's intentions. |
| Obstacle | e.state. — The condition of the target |
| Disposition | f — Final. Retrying the same thing changes nothing. |
A handler can match this code exactly, or by any prefix above it: e.state., e.state.conflict., e.state.conflict.lockbox., e.state.conflict.lockbox.held..
