e.proof.sig.grant.f¶
The grant's signature does not verify against its sender's current key state, so I won't admit it.
Retrying the same thing changes nothing.
What a response says¶
The grant names {aid} as its sender, and its signature does not verify against {aid}'s current keys as I gathered them just now.
The placeholders are filled from aid, which travel positionally in the args member of the response.
What to do¶
heti checks the current key state on purpose: verifying against the establishment event the signer names would admit keys the controller has rotated away — the superseded-key window (keri-sow 5lnt). A grant signed before a rotation is dead; ask the presenter to grant again under its current keys.
Where it sits¶
| Sorter | e — Error. The problem clearly defeats someone's intentions. |
| Obstacle | e.proof. — Supplied material fails verification against a reference |
| Disposition | f — Final. Retrying the same thing changes nothing. |
A handler can match this code exactly, or by any prefix above it: e.proof., e.proof.sig., e.proof.sig.grant..
