e.proof.event.sig.f¶
A key event's controller signature doesn't verify, so the key history isn't authentic.
Retrying the same thing changes nothing.
What a response says¶
The event at sequence number {sn} isn't validly signed by its controller, so I can't treat the key history as authentic.
The placeholders are filled from sn, which travel positionally in the args member of the response.
What to do¶
A caller that doesn't care which way an event failed can match the prefix `e.proof.event.` instead.
Where it sits¶
| Sorter | e — Error. The problem clearly defeats someone's intentions. |
| Obstacle | e.proof. — Supplied material fails verification against a reference |
| Disposition | f — Final. Retrying the same thing changes nothing. |
A handler can match this code exactly, or by any prefix above it: e.proof., e.proof.event., e.proof.event.sig..
