e.rule.expired.f

The signature is past the expiry its own signer declared, so I won't accept it.

Retrying the same thing changes nothing.

What a response says

This signature expired at {expires} and it is now {now}, so the signer has already said it shouldn't be accepted.

The placeholders are filled from expires, now, which travel positionally in the args member of the response.

Where it sits

Sorter e — Error. The problem clearly defeats someone's intentions.
Obstacle e.rule. — A norm we enforce, neither authority nor verification
Disposition f — Final. Retrying the same thing changes nothing.

A handler can match this code exactly, or by any prefix above it: e.rule., e.rule.expired..
