e.input.range.farnode.oversize.f¶
One of the far nodes you handed me is larger than I will read.
Retrying the same thing changes nothing.
What a response says¶
The {part} of far node {index} is {size} bytes, and I read at most {limit} bytes of a far node's {part}. The bound is checked on every far node before any is parsed, so a bundle of oversized ones costs nothing to refuse.
The placeholders are filled from index, part, size, limit, which travel positionally in the args member of the response.
What to do¶
A real credential is a few kilobytes, and a registry chain grows only with its acts. Present the far node itself, not a stream that carries more than it.
Where it sits¶
| Sorter | e — Error. The problem clearly defeats someone's intentions. |
| Obstacle | e.input. — What you sent |
| Disposition | f — Final. Retrying the same thing changes nothing. |
A handler can match this code exactly, or by any prefix above it: e.input., e.input.range., e.input.range.farnode., e.input.range.farnode.oversize..
