e.input.format.witness.url.f

A witness is named here by its identifier, and an address is not one.

Retrying the same thing changes nothing.

What a response says

{given} is an address. Designating a witness records who it is, permanently, and where it lives is a separate thing this lockbox learns and can relearn.

The placeholders are filled from given, which travel positionally in the args member of the response.

What to do

Run `witness <url>` first: it learns where that witness lives and prints the identifier to name here.

Where it sits

Sorter e — Error. The problem clearly defeats someone's intentions.
Obstacle e.input. — What you sent
Disposition f — Final. Retrying the same thing changes nothing.

A handler can match this code exactly, or by any prefix above it: e.input., e.input.format., e.input.format.witness., e.input.format.witness.url..
