e.input.format.rules.f¶
That rules value is not a SAID, so I won't issue a credential that points at it.
Retrying the same thing changes nothing.
What a response says¶
A rules section given as text is the SAID of a rule block, and {rules} is not a digest keripy can read ({cause}).
The placeholders are filled from rules, cause, which travel positionally in the args member of the response.
What to do¶
I can't check what a SAID names — a governing framework lives somewhere I haven't looked — so checking that it IS one is the whole of what I can do, and the schema won't do it for me: a schema saying only "type": "string" accepts anything. Pass the rules block itself with compact_rules=True and I'll derive the SAID instead.
Where it sits¶
| Sorter | e — Error. The problem clearly defeats someone's intentions. |
| Obstacle | e.input. — What you sent |
| Disposition | f — Final. Retrying the same thing changes nothing. |
A handler can match this code exactly, or by any prefix above it: e.input., e.input.format., e.input.format.rules..
